Socure

Identity intelligence and orchestration

Socure combines identity verification and fraud intelligence with RiskOS, its decisioning and orchestration platform. The portfolio includes Socure Verify, Sigma fraud models, Predictive DocV, watchlist monitoring, account intelligence, and device-related signals. Its core strength is evidence about the person and the risk around that identity.

Our assessment

Strong identity and risk intelligence; validate the full AML and merchant underwriting stack around it.

Best fit and limitations

Useful for high-volume digital onboarding where identity resolution and synthetic or first-party fraud are key. RiskOS also makes it relevant to a broader decision-layer evaluation.

  • Identity fraud scores do not by themselves form an AML transaction monitoring program.
  • First-party fraud risk is not the same as a creditworthiness or merchant reserve model.
  • Confirm KYB, business ownership, screening content, and non-US coverage at the field and country level.

AI capabilities

Identity models + RiskOS assistants and agents

Predictive models assess identity and document risk. Separately, the RiskOS AI Suite provides business research, case recommendations, rule assistance, and explanations. Socure Agent Intelligence identifies AI actors; it is a different product.

Research businessesRecommend case outcomesExplain scores and policy changes
What to validate

Test model performance by population. Confirm human review for case recommendations and approval before assisted rules or workflow changes go live.

Implementation

Integration checklist
  • Use backend risk evaluation and the correct DocV capture SDK.
  • Plan asynchronous webhooks and step-up verification states.
  • Keep model reasons, data-check results, document outcomes, and downstream fraud labels.
Commercial scope

Quote required. Separate identity checks, Sigma models, document/selfie transactions, monitoring, RiskOS, and data add-ons.

Questions for the demo
  1. How does performance change across our customer segments and countries?
  2. Which fields are verified versus inferred or scored?
  3. Can we inspect the step-up path when data and document results disagree?
